Assam
Of the Seven Sister States, Assam is the most populated and largest. It is well-known for the huge Brahmaputra River, Kaziranga National Park, and its verdant tea estates. Additionally well-known for the rich Assamese culture and traditions is Assam.

Arunachal Pradesh
Arunachal Pradesh is known for its stunning Himalayan scenery, extensive forests, and numerous tribal cultures. Due to its eastern location and early sunrises, it is frequently called the "Land of the Rising Sun."

Mizoram
Mizoram has the highest rate of literacy in India, as well as beautiful, green highlands and dense bamboo forests. It has an own culture and customs and is inhabited by numerous Mizo tribes.

Meghalaya
Often referred to as the "Abode of Clouds," Meghalaya is home to some of the wettest regions on earth and is well-known for its live root bridges in Cherrapunjee (Sohra). The capital, Shillong, is frequently referred to as the "Scotland of the East" because of its picturesque highlands.

Nagaland
The rich tribal cultures of Nagaland, especially the Naga tribes, are well-known. The state is also known for its traditional celebrations, including the Hornbill Festival, which honors the rich Naga heritage.

Manipur
Manipur is noted for its beautiful Loktak Lake and the Manipuri classical dance style, which is known for its floating islands. The state is also well-known for the ancient Kangla Fort and its historical significance.

Tripura
The far-south state of Tripura is renowned for its diverse cultural heritage, stunning palaces like the Ujjayanta Palace, and the historic Tripura Sundari Temple. On three sides, it shares boundaries with Bangladesh.
